postheadericon Glee’s Amber Riley Made Me Cry, Just Being Honest!

So Tuesday’s episode of Glee was it’s Valentine’s Day episode and it was amazing. We got introduced to Joseph, Samuel Larsen, one of the winner’s from Oxygen’s The Glee Project. He plays a Christian home schooled student who transfers to McKinley High and is confronted with the issue to sing a Valentine song to lesbian couple Santana and Brittany or not to based on his faith. Jeff Goldblum plays one of Rachel’s gay fathers and tries to convince Rachel and Finn not to get married through reverse psychology. David Karofsky comes back in an unexpected way, even though to be honest I saw it a mile away. The spotlight, however, belonged to Amber Riley‘s character Mercedes! She has been in a struggle between loving her new boyfriend and Sam, Chord Overstreet, after having a summer fling. She sings I Will Always Love you and it brought me to tears. I don’t know if it had to do with the story line, her talent, or the fact that I haven’t had time to process Whitney Houston‘s death or all three but I was a bit of a mess. True story! So here is a clip of it that I hope you enjoy. Watch Glee on Tuesdays on Fox at 7pm!
