Whitney Houston – death follows week of erratic behavior
This Photo from the last week says enough. I’m sorry to be a Debbie Downer but Whitney Houston has had battle after battle since getting together with trouble maker Bobby Brown. Whitney Houston died after consuming a cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol, not from drowning, reports say. Houston took a combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs with alcohol, and she could have passed away before her head became submerged in the bathtub water. Whitney had many run -ins with law enforcement in recent years with possession of cocaine and Mary J. as well as a reality show that had gone too far. A good therapist would have told her not to air so much dirty laundry on prime time.
I know I know, your already mad at me for ragging on Whitney. I had to state the honest truth first no matter how negative. I adored Whitney, her songs got me through a lot of rough times. Her passion for love, her extremely talented vocals and her sustain were impressive. I remember living in the country and a car drove by you could hear for miles blasting “I will always love you”. That type of song making me believe I would someday find a love that would make me sing a song like that at the top of my lungs. “Queen of the night” rocked the dance clubs before my time but I remember jamming with a few friends at Spin nightclub in Chicago to “Your love is my love” Remixed. Here is the video of the day.
Whitney believed in love and children and music, and brought it to millions. She held down the record charts for decades. Long live the Super Diva Performing Live:
