Whitney Houston died from an accidental drowning in a hotel bathtub, but the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use” were contributing factors in her death, the Los Angeles County Coroner said in an autopsy report released Thursday.

While we are still saddened by a tragic loss to the entertainment world, this is an example of how Drugs ARE BAD. It has been reported that she had multiple drugs in her system. This is no surprise. While unlike Michael Jackson she had no Dr. Administer a drug to her before she died. She is still a prime example of how the rise to fame and pressure in our society make dealing with these types of issues harder. Lindsey Lohan will you please take a page from the book of the ones who have risen to fame before you and Kick the habit ?

Our Stars in America are setting a bad example of how excess leads to out of control lifestyles. While Whitney had her own demons that we cannot judge her on, is there anything we could have done as a society to prevent access to these types of drugs ? Is there anything we could have done as a society to get someone like this into rehab ? While there has been no responses from any representing her as a private physician (to my knowledge), in MJ’s case shouldn’t have the DR. state to the patient “I don’t care how much money you have, its time you face your drug addiction.”

While people are responsible for their own behavior, handlers should be protecting their clients well being not just their entitlement. And what is Bobby Brown’s Response to any of this. We are truely sorry for his loss, but at some point he needs to take some responsibility. So he was on tour to promote his career the night that Whitney Houston decided to Overddose on more than 5 concoctions in her system to no knowledge to her ex-husband ?

While any of us can speculate and point fingers, and cast doubt on the circumstances. It truly is a tragedy, and the tragedies keep coming from the out-of-control entertainment industry. STOP Spending your hard earned money on Irresponsible people. While we cannot prevent these issues, we can stop buying and feeding into them until they get their lives under control.

And back to Lindsey Lohan. I’m sorry but any studio that hires you to make any movie should be held accountable for contributing to your vices. Isn’t this why Charlie Sheen was let go from Warner Brothers ? While studios are getting richer from the average everyday hard working American, while they want to get paid for their “creativity” They should also take responsibility for the Frankensteins they have created.

No I am not watching your shows or buying your magazines. Its not that I don’t have the money or the time, it really isn’t. I mean in this economy, a gurl has to SHOCK people. Not everyone who watches you is a middle aged housewife, your demographics are far and wide. While your interview with @jonbonjovi might get you some great viewers. Were was the marketing to promote to the gays that you were showing GAGA? I mean, How did I miss this live ? You are not reaching critical mass with your advertising.

Why hasn’t Rosie O’Donnell been hitting the gay bars of Chicago to promote her show. No I am dead serious about that point. Harpo Studios resides in the new up and coming IT district and you moved everyone and  everything somewhere else. You lost ground, and focus, and your roots. You need to come back to Chicago and kick old school with us and find out what your long term supports want to see more of. You also need to start working on mass appeal and marketing. I have seen no fliers, train advertisements, billboards, Newspaper ads nothing to promote any new cool show on your network.

I know I know, your already mad at me for ragging on Whitney. I had to state the honest truth first no matter how negative. I adored Whitney, her songs got me through a lot of rough times. Her passion for love, her extremely talented vocals and her sustain were impressive. I remember living in the country and a car drove by you could hear for miles blasting “I will always love you”. That type of song making me believe I would someday find a love that would make me sing a song like that at the top of my lungs. “Queen of the night” rocked the dance clubs before my time but I remember jamming with a few friends at Spin nightclub in Chicago to “Your love is my love” Remixed.
