postheadericon Davy Jones From The Monkees Dies Of Heart Attack!

February 29 2012 is not only leap year but the death of legendary lead singer of The Monkees, Davy Jones. Here is a clip from ABC News. He died at 66 from a heart attack in Indiantown, Florida. The Monkees was a fun show of a made up band that quickly blew up in 1965. I remember watching the reruns as a kid and although they usually never ran in order they always were fun. Davy Jones was so big that I remember also watching an episode of The Brady Bunch that he guest starred in where Marsha was part of his fan club and had to get him to perform for her school. I think the biggest song that he will be remembered for was Daydream Believer. Davy your fans will truely miss you.

postheadericon Amanda Seyfried’s “Gone”, Crazy!!!!!

Just got done watching Gone a Lakehouse and Summit Entertainment film featuring Amanda Seyfried and despite the bad critic reviews I liked it. In this movie we have Jill Parrish, Amanda Seyfried, who was abducted a year ago and on medication for the trauma living with her sister Molly, who is a recovering alcoholic. After extensive studying for a final Molly winds up missing when Jill comes home from a night shift as a waitress. Jill goes to the cops believeing that the man that she escaped is back and took her sister instead. The cops think that Jill is just paranoid so she takes it into her own hands to find her sister before she dies. What I liked about this movie was wondering if Jill was crazy and made up the whole scenerio or if she was on to something. The ending I thought could have had a little more action but it at least delivered some suspense. I say go out and see the movie, it was entertaining and who doesn’t love that big eyed blonde beauty Amanda. ;)

postheadericon Finally, A Bad Girl I Like On BGC8! Elease!!!!

I was really excited about Oxygen’s Season 8 of The Bad Girls Club because I am a junkie but all it has done is bore me and really dislike the girls. Erica has an annoying dual personality, Venetia, and voice, The Twins, Gabi and Dani, are provoked by their father to cause drama, Amy is a ding a ling, Demitra is wishy washy, Gia is trying to be out of the drama because she got sent to a hotel the first night and Jenna was annoying. By was I mean it took a loud mouth Jenna to get into a brawl and be sent home to bring on my new favorite Bad Girl, Elease. She has been through some shit in her first 2 days of being in the house, from being locked out, harassed, beat up by six girls and having her belongings trashed, yet still not backing down. Elease thanks for showing these bitches what a true Bad Girl is, it’s about time they learn. I love that Staci and Tiara from season 7 have made cameos. Tiara was my favorite because she got a girl out of the house her season without getting in trouble. It was intelligent and classy. So here’s to hoping the rest of the season goes up hill with Elease because I almost jumped off. :o

postheadericon Glee’s Season 3 Winter Finale-WTF!!!!

I just got finished watching the winter finale of Fox’s Glee season 3 and have mixed feelings about it. Ryan Murphy made this episode a kind of “after school special” that I am sure hit home to some people but for people like me found it too much. We have Sebastian from The Warblers blackmailing Rachel to not perform for regionals or he will send out a photo shopped picture of Finn naked and in heels, David Karofsky almost commiting suicide because he is cyber bullied and can’t deal with his sexuality, Rachel and Finn’s shot gun wedding and then to top it off Quinn getting hit by a truck while she is driving and texting. I believe Quinn is going to die from this crash because this whole season she has been a mess and right when she gets herself together it will end, but of course we have to wait till April to find out. One thing for sure that I agreed with in this episode is her opinion on suicide. I have been through 2 friend’s deaths and find it very selfish to take your own life. I will admit that there was once a point when I thought that the world sucked, was tired of being picked on, and gave suicide a thought but came to realize I am made of tougher stuff and piss on everyone else. Times are different now and yes computers make it worse on teens these days but you only have one life and through it you have already touched people around you, why shut it out for ignorance? The songs from this episode were weak except for the ones The New Directions/Trouble Tones sang. All in all, not my favorite episode. :/

postheadericon Survivor: One World Sucked Me In

I gave up on Survivor a long time ago but this season has me hooked. On Survivor:One World, it’s 24th season, the creators have decided to put male versus female, put them on one beach and get rid of redemption island. In the first fifteen minutes we get a taste of what these contestants are about, playing dirty. Michael, a banker from Seattle, Washington, steals items right from under the women when both teams are put to the test of grabbing what they can from a truck to take back to their site. Then after finding chickens the women make a deal to catch them with the men and break it when they catch them all. This season is full of hotties on both sides, one that caught my eye was Matt, an attorney from San Francisco, California, he is gorgeous and arrogant. For the women’s team I am checking out Sabrina, a high school teacher from Brooklyn, New York, because of her intelligence and humor. I cannot wait to see Colton, a college student from Monroeville, Alabama, seal his own fate. I am sorry but I am a gay man and if I was in a competition of men versus women I would go with my gender and Colton is doing the total opposite. It isn’t like he was singled out either, he just flew over to the women. He is really getting on my nerves and it has been only episode one. In the end Kourtney went home and all I can say is that there are safety rules for a reason, follow them! Catch the new episode tonight on CBS at 7. There will sure to be some eye catching moments. ;)

postheadericon What’s Wrong With “Stupid Hoe”?

So I just checked out Nicki Minaj‘s video for her latest song Stupid Hoe and do not understand the big controversy over why BET will not play the video or why it is getting a bad rap. The song is catchy and the video is nuts like Nicki. Sure you might get a seizure from all the flashing but this video is fun. A WTG goes out to Nicki for also promoting that she was going to be at The Superbowl in the video. A thing that shocked me was a quote from Lil Kim who said “If you have to make a song called “Stupid Hoe” you must be a stupid hoe.”. Bitch, you haven’t wrote a thing in a long ass time and just be honest, Nicki is taking the shock value you used to have and stepping it up a couple notches. Love you Lil Kim but I’m just saying. ;)

postheadericon Keep Your Pants MTV!!!!

I really, really am trying to like I Just Want My Pants Back on MTV yet still find it lacking. To me, this television show is trying to be the next Skins but more adult and less attractive. Sure it has smoking pot, one night stands, and drinking which could be a lot of fun but the characters are weak. The only two that give me a little bit of intrigue for the next episode is the couple of Stacey and Eric. They have been in some funny situations like a used “new” bed and a foursome and it’s been only three episodes. Jason and Tina the best friends are a bit whiney and I just lose interest. Damn you parents worried about teen sex and drug use, MTV had a thing there with Skins now we get this. Check it out and form your own opinion but for me I give it a big “EH!”.

postheadericon Raising Hope Is Genius!!!!

Fox has another fantastic television show that I cannot get enough of, Raising Hope. In it we have James “Jimmy” Chance played by Lucas Neff and his loving but way out there family who have to help raise his baby he had from a one night stand with a serial killer that got put up for death. Sounds twisted but boy is it hilarious. What caught my attention in the first place was Martha Plimpton as Jimmy’s Mom and Cloris Leachman as his Maw Maw but then after that it was magnetism to the story, characters, and humor. Running through it’s second season this weeks episode “Jimmy’s Fake Girlfriend” gave us what we have been waiting for since the begining, Jimmy and Sabrina, Shannon Woodward, coming together as a couple. Ashley Tisdale has a hand in this as Mary-Louise an improv actress who pretends she is Jimmy’s girlfriend to make Sabrina jealous and break up with her boyfriend Wyatt. Success!!!! This was hilarious and keeps Raising Hope amazing. Catch season one on DVD and recent episodes on Fox at 8:30. And scene! :D

postheadericon Glee’s Amber Riley Made Me Cry, Just Being Honest!

So Tuesday’s episode of Glee was it’s Valentine’s Day episode and it was amazing. We got introduced to Joseph, Samuel Larsen, one of the winner’s from Oxygen’s The Glee Project. He plays a Christian home schooled student who transfers to McKinley High and is confronted with the issue to sing a Valentine song to lesbian couple Santana and Brittany or not to based on his faith. Jeff Goldblum plays one of Rachel’s gay fathers and tries to convince Rachel and Finn not to get married through reverse psychology. David Karofsky comes back in an unexpected way, even though to be honest I saw it a mile away. The spotlight, however, belonged to Amber Riley‘s character Mercedes! She has been in a struggle between loving her new boyfriend and Sam, Chord Overstreet, after having a summer fling. She sings I Will Always Love you and it brought me to tears. I don’t know if it had to do with the story line, her talent, or the fact that I haven’t had time to process Whitney Houston‘s death or all three but I was a bit of a mess. True story! So here is a clip of it that I hope you enjoy. Watch Glee on Tuesdays on Fox at 7pm!

postheadericon Will You Just Shut Up Ramona!!!!!

Yesterday’s episode of Mob Wives on VH1 made me just want to pop Ramona in the jaw. After a heated spa day at Renee’s place regarding Carla not showing up, Ramona decided to call her up and have a sit down. Now I do not know if you have been watching, but since the first episode of this season all Ramona talks about is Drita continuously talking about her, my question is how come it’s Ramona and Karen I hear talking more about Drita than vice versa? Karen two episodes sits with Carla to talk about their falling out and all she said was Drita, Drita, Drita and now Ramona is doing the same thing when she decides to talk to Carla. As far as Drita goes, we just hear about her divorcing Lee and how she is trying to help her daughters cope. So Ramona, shut up!!!!!! On happier Mob Wives moments, Big Ang has her new puppy from her “wise guy” during one of her interviews. She really has moved to the front of the line, especially when she exited the spa day because it was getting to dramatic for her. WTG Ang!!!! Also a WTG to Carla for being calm during both of her sit downs. You are a classy lady! Speaking of sit downs there is a new half hour after the episode call The Sit Down which to be honest reminds me of a Watch What Happens Live by Andy Cohen that hasn’t really drawn me in yet. So YAY Mob Wives not so much The Sit Down.
