Beatrice Arthur, the larger-than-life actress who scored on Broadway as the original matchmaker in Fiddler on the Roof and the hard-drinking actress in Mame before she went on to star in the groundbreaking ’70s TV series Maude and, in the ’80s, the beloved sitcom The Golden Girls, died early Saturday morning. She was 86.

Golden Girls, a popular NBC Saturday-night staple from 1985 to 1992, featured Arthur as the outspoken Dorothy Zbornak, who shared a Florida home with three other women, including her mother, played by Estelle Getty – who died last July, at 84. The other stars were Rue McClanahan and Betty White.

Bea, you will be Missed.

A week ago I found this really nice t.v. show called True Beauty, what it caught my attention in the first place was the fact of pretty girls and cute guys in a competition trying to prove who is the America’s most beautiful person, I always think that beauty and wisdom is very hard to find and is harder try to find them together, in this show they are proving exactly the same though, is a good show if you want to learn that beauty is not everything in the life at least not outer beauty we have to look for inner beauty, if your inner beauty is not that pretty it will reflect your outer, the tricky part of the show is that the contestants don’t know about this twist until they are out of the competition. Is very funny see them how they get surprised when they get eliminated from the competition, contestants have no idea that part of the competition is to have inner beauty and show it in the program without knowledge of them being recorded. at the end of the show the judges show the contestants why they failed.

When the contestants think  that the challenge is to work hard to prove and show their outer beauty, they totally forget the inner one, the one that really counts. Is a good show  if you decide to watch a different show on t.v. every Monday at 10/9c on ABC. Just remember this is the second week of the show, it started with ten participants and now is only eight of them, so hurry up and try to catch all the beauty that u can or someone else will tell you that you are not beautiful enough. At the end of the show one of the them will gets one hundred thousand dollars cash, their photo feature in peoples magazine most beautiful issue and will emerge as America’s True Beauty

I’m pretty sure that there is a lot of people who think that this kind of t.v. is for gay people or only girls, I personally think this is a good show for the entire family, this way we can learn how the rest of the people look at us and how we really look at ourselves and try to look for our own inner beauty.  be careful this show could be addictive! Is time to think about beauty and wisdom, can you do it?

The other good point of the show is that is produced by   Denise Cramsey, Tyra Banks, Laura Armstrong and Ashton Kutcher.

True blood is a t.v. show about vampires in a very different point of view, where we can find that vampires had evolved, with fake or synthetic blood to survive and trying not to drink humans blood, it is a very good advance if you believe in vampires, if you don’t is not that bad because is a very entertained show, where you see things that keeps everybody trying not to miss any episode, with episodes of one hour without commercials makes the show better and better. Although Anna Paquin’s participations as one of the major character, even batter! There is no way that you don’t want to watch this t.v. show, we know that HBO has a lot good t.v. drama and science fiction series such as Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos to mention some.

True blood is a good combination of drama and science fiction, there is some t.v. series that don’t have that touch, one of the most important points of this show is that you really believe in the things that are happening, even when you know that not everything is true, just the fact of the vampires drinking fake blood and fighting against they condition of non-human, is very good point that some of theme don’t want to kill people to survive, but how about those ones who wants to follow their nature condition.

An other reason to don’t  miss any episode is Anna Paquin who recently won a Golden Globe as a Best Actress, the only thing we have to do is wait  for the next summer and watch True Blood new season, we hope is as good as the first one.

Bromance14 Jan 2009 10:54 pm

Bromance is one of the shows that keeps you in front the t.v. and you don’t know why you are watching the show. It’s a smart option if you decide to turn off the t.v instead watching it, is not because is a bad show, is just not your best choice, but if we see the positive side of the shows we can prove that people really like this, maybe is the cute guys in the show, and obviously is not because they are very smart. Who really wants a smart guy now?  Girls, they love a cute muscular guy with a small brain and a big muscles and you can see all this in the Bromance t.v. show, which u can find it every Monday at 9:00 p m on MTV, besides the cute guys and big muscles we can find the way they get along to each other and notice that they don’t have any  regrets, they are messy and talk dirty, is not a very good option if you want to get your children educated, if you want that you can go to the history channel. Back to the show, we can say it is a good option if you just want to get entertained.

There are some good moments that prove the guys have feelings, and they are not made from rock, and can cry as a girls. Once they found out that the winner will keep Brody’s aparment  the guys start saying they can do anything to be Brody’s best friend, I personally found it very funny, the fact that they want to be Brody’s best friend like the former show Paris’s Hiltons New best friend, it’s a very similar show with challenges and rewards, and a gay guy. Is a very interesting show that shows you how to be a good fried and when u can trust them and they can trust u too, if you ever want to have a reality show remember that you have to see them first then live them, and Bromance is a good show to start, is funny, touchy, interesting, and cool show to watch, just remember t.v. is changing every day catch everything u can and u will learn a lot, it doesn’t matter if is a disney channel or shark week on discovery.
